I cannot believe it has been 5 years already. Justin and I got married June 11, 2004. Let’s take a trip down memory lane shall we….
Justin and I met while working at CTX Mortgage Company in Plano. I had already been there a year and half when Justin started there in the fall of 2002. I was immediately smitten. I knew I had to get to know this guy! I just thought he was so cute. Well after flirting for about 5 months, we finally starting dating. I think it was around his birthday, February of 2003. It all started at Mico Cina at a work happy hour. I think I followed him or he followed me to the bathroom. He was coming out and I was going in. We had our first kiss right there! From then on we were inseparable.
We dated for about a year and then he popped the question on February 14, 2004. I was totally excited and ready to marry him! Yea!! I of course found my dress that very next weekend and booked the wedding. I don’t mess around. Just incase he changed his mind….
Well on March 5, 2004 we got a little surprise. We were pregnant! We move fast people…try and keep up! On top on the fact I had now 3 months to plan a wedding and work at my job, I had morning sickness. Fun stuff. Of course I had already ordered my dress the weekend after I got engaged, so I was praying that it would still fit in June. I would be 5 months 2 weeks the day of our wedding. I was a little nervous.
June 11th came and the wedding was awesome! We had a wonderful time. I think everyone did. I fit into my dress….well barely. I had to rig it a little. The day was perfect.
Mason was born just a few short months after the wedding and we have been moving fast ever since! We had Nash on October 2, 2008 and we will have a little girl in September 2009. Life is great with Justin and I wouldn’t change a thing! I love you honey, and here’s to another 5!
