Kenny in the Rain

Last Saturday was the Kenny Chesney concert. I was so excited to see him again. I see him every year and been to almost every concert since 2003. Amanda went with me this time. We were dressed really cute and our makeup was flawless. BUT....it didn't matter. The rain never stopped coming down making the concert a huge wet mess! Although we were soaked to the bone and wearing our ponchos, made out of trash bags that we begged from a janitor, we did have fun. That is until the big rain came. I'm talkin' monsoon rain. Kenny got through about 5 songs before the hardest rain was falling. The lighting was bad as well. I finally looked at Amanda and said, "That's enough". As we were leaving we noticed that the lights in the stadium had come on. They called the show. Which was good that we didn't miss much. There is always next year!
