Father's Day Fun

This weekend we got to see the "Little Freeze's" over at my Mom and Dad's house. The "Little Freeze's" are my Brother Zach, his wife Erin, and our Niece Kinley. We had a great time swimming, playing music trivia (of course) and just hanging out. The kids also had a blast! This is the best attempt at getting a good picture of all of them.



The kids and I gave Justin a framed picture of a collage of pictures of the kids. About a month ago I had Katie snap a few photos of the kids all together. They turned out great! I ordered a collage through Kodak gallery that was 16 x 20 and then had that matted and framed. It's really neat! I will take a picture of it once we get it on the wall. Justin just loved it! Thanks again Katie!!

Sick Kid, Cranky Toddler, Happy Baby

Seriously I don't understand how your child gets sick after school is out and they are home all the time?!

On Sunday I noticed Mason's face was a little bit red on his cheeks. It look like he was starting to break out from the sunscreen I had just bought the day before. Well Monday morning he woke up and his whole face was bright red, cheeks mostly. Then the rash started to move down his arms and legs. After a quick panic I checked the Internet to find out rashes are usually not serious and he had text book 5th's disease. It sound scary, but he acts completely fine. Don't let the pictures fool you, he is a little bit of a drama king.




On Monday I took Nash to see the doctor for a fever. I just knew he had another ear infection. Well after the wasted trip and $25, he's just teething. This kid has had a time with his teeth coming in. It's like he has really thick gums or something. Poor guy (or Mom), he just goes through these fits of crying and it seems nothing helps him. I did get his first big boy haircut at a "salon" and he looks like a little man.

Miss Presley is now pulling up on everything she can. We have had many bumps and hard hits to the floor. Good thing I have carpet and not hardwoods! My only happy baby right now....

Wordless Wednesday

Pool time!

The pool is finally warm enough for me to get in, finally! We got the whole family (minus Kylie, we miss you!) into the pool today. It is already that hot where you have to be in the pool if you are outside. The pool water is 84 degrees...crazy. Presley loves the pool. Nash doesn't love it at first but then warms up to it. Mason is in swimming lessons right now and is doing better this time around (this is year 3 on lessons). He did great today. I finally got him to put on the goggles and now he loves going under the water. He WILL learn to swim this year. I'm glad summer is here!!

It's funny what toddlers pick up from adults. You never know what actions they are going to mimic....

Nash and Mason play with our old non-working cell phones all the time. I noticed the other day that Nash was trying to put his phone down his shirt. I just started to laugh and then I remembered my Mom keeps her cell phone in her sports bra. I guess he has been watching her put her cell phone up! I told Justin to watch Nash with his phone and then Justin says, "Who puts their phone there?". I said "My Mother!" On the video you tell he gets frustrated when it won't stay in his shirt. Also on the VIDEO Presley makes a cameo doing her scooting. She's into everything now!

Latest news from the BI's

So Mason is really doing well on his reading! He can actually read some of his books now. The other night he read to his brother Nash. This was so cute, but the picture I missed was where Nash had his head on Mason's shoulder. Oh man, those two are so sweet sometimes!




We had a playdate with the Dennett's on Sunday. It was a beautiful day outside so we took to the park! I had no idea Nash was so rough. He was punching Carsen. I guess Nash and Mason play too rough with each other. Nash is a bruiser! All in all it was a good day! Thanks for coming to see us Carsen and Chloe!!

Babies!

Nash had his 18 month check up yesterday. He is SO skinny. He only weighs 21 1/2 pounds. That is only 5th percentile in weight!! He was 55% in height and 25th in head circumference. He needs to eat more.

Presley is going to be tough. We already knew that, but here is a video that proves that.
